Hey Eric, based on your video I bought this about 2 years ago. The smaller surface is very shaky. Gonna take it apart later to find out whats really going on. Also I find that the belt associated with he crank arm comes loose very regularly. Too slack is what I suspect. Any suggestions?
El asunto con la "llave" que trae incluida el Workmate para apretar los tornillos es que esta pensada para no "pasarse" con el apriete de los tornillos. El problema mas bien está en el manual, que no explica que hay que empujar hacia abajo un poco los tornillos al comenzar a girar, puesto que el plástico donde se atornillan no tiene rosca! ...la hace el propio tornillo al entrar pero si solo giramos no termina de "enganchar" el tornillo, así que lo que yo hice fue empujar con un dedo el tornillo hacia abajo mientras con una llave estriada comenzaba a girar, despues termine el apriete con la herramienta incluida.

I I finally ditched my 40 year old blue legged workmate for one of these because the feet had fallen off the legs were rusting and there were lots of scars stains and mutilation on the work areas. My wife thinking she was getting the best bought me one of these. Its big its cumbersome the bolts holding the bamboo top pieces to the framedon't tighten up properly and the orange plastic clamping pieces are too big to fit in the predrilled holes- otherwise its OK

Eric, I just assembled wm1000 and the two bolts that hold down the smaller board doesn't lock, both bolts go all the way down and keep turning freely, is this normal?
